9月30日の食器洗い機とシンクピア

2年前の2011年9月24日に始めた日々の食器洗い機日記と、同じ年の10月23日から時折取り上げ始めた生ゴミ処理機シンクピア日記も、これだけ書き続けてくると貴重な財産になってきました。
はじめの頃は頑にストロボをたかずに撮影していたので画像が暗く見づらいのも欠点です。少しづつ改良を加えているので我慢を願いたい。

おかげで色々の方から色々なご質問をいただきます。
そんな中で，食器洗い機で何でも洗えるの？とかキッチンから水切りカゴが不要になるの？といったご質問がとても多いのも特徴です。
まず、食器洗い機で何でも洗えるわけではありません。先日も書きましたが金や銀の装飾もの、漆器、高級な極薄のワイングラスなどは洗わないほうが良いでしょう。テフロン加工のフライパンや鍋も洗わないほうが良いです。
昨日は休日でいろいろ料理を楽しんだので，食器や鍋が多く入りきらなかったものは手洗しています。当然水切りカゴも必要です。洗えなかったものを画像で加えました。ペットボトルやジプロックの袋、ハムスライサーの刃物や本体、竹のザル、圧力炊飯器の部品などなどは食器洗い機で洗えません。入りきらなかったものはステンレスざる、和料理用陶器の鉢、炊飯器鍋などいろいろあります。

9月29日の食器洗い機とシンクピア

昨日は夕食当番だったので、久しぶりに鶏ガラスープを作り，薬膳鍋を堪能しました。スープを取ったステンレスの寸胴鍋や平鍋などがタップリ一度に洗えるのは、この食器洗い機の一番のメリットです。
最近のインテリア雑誌に食器洗い機は食器棚としても使えるという記事が書かれているのを見て唖然としました。45cm巾の食器洗い機だとその都度洗わないと容量が足りないからそういう発想も生まれるのかもしれませんが、一日分の食器をまとめて洗える60cm巾の食器洗い機は食器棚にはなりません。夜の間に洗って乾燥してくれた食器は毎朝必ず食器棚に戻してから使ってください。そのためにも、キッチンレイアウトの中で食器洗い機の位置は非常に重要です。洗い上がった食器を近距離の食器棚に戻すことがキッチンの作業効率を大きく高めてくれるからです。
鶏ガラスープを作ったあとには，葱などのハーブ野菜や鶏ガラなどの厨芥が残ります。写真で見るように昨日はこの厨芥をそのままシンクピアに入れています。
今朝は日曜日なので一週間ぶりにシンクピアの中の点検掃除です。昨日の厨芥が見事に分解されていて驚かされます。

9月28日の食器洗い機とシンクピア

昨夜はJIDAデザインセミナーが六本木で開かれ参加してきたので外食。今週はほとんど外食の日々となってしまった。そのために食器や鍋が少ない。
時おり，食器洗い機で洗えないものは？というご質問をいただきますが、漆器や金装飾の入ったグラスや陶磁器、そしてテフロン加工のフライパンや鍋などは洗えません。1〜2度洗う程度なら問題ありませんが何度も洗うと漆や金装飾ははがれてしまいます。テフロン加工の鍋は洗え過ぎてしまってテフロン層が研磨され、油を引かずに使える特性がなくなっていきます。また食器洗い機対応の塗り箸が売られていますが、私がこのブログでも取り上げているように、数ヶ月洗い続けると塗りがはがれてしまいます。

こういったことを知った上で、日々の食器や調理鍋や道具類を清潔に洗い上げて快適な生活を送っていただきたいと思います。

9月27日の食器洗い機とシンクピア

昨夜は久しぶりに自宅で夕食。高かったサンマの値段もようやく落ち着いてきたようで、サンマの塩焼きとタップリの大根おろしを堪能。グリルプレートも久しぶりに食器洗い機で洗う。油や臭いのつくグリルプレートはやはり食器洗い機で洗うのが一番気持ち良く洗える。

一昨日運転しなかったので昨日は食器や鍋が多い。それでもスペースが空いているのは昨日の名古屋出張の帰りに駅弁の夕食を食べたから。

9月25日の食器洗い機とシンクピア

昨夜は渋谷マンションの管理組合理事会と、その後引き続いて大規模修繕工事委員会が開かれ、改装工事の仕様を決める作業があり、たっぷり9時過ぎまでかかった。腹が空いてしまったので理事の有志と「ゴチ」で慰労会。そのため午前様になってしまい食器が少なかったので昨夜は食器洗い機の運転は無し。

9月24日の食器洗い機とシンクピア

昨日は一日中自宅で仕事、食器や鍋が多い。特に本格的に涼しい一日だったのでいよいよ鍋料理のシーズンが始まり！浅鍋とタジン鍋を使い分けてタップリの鍋料理を堪能した。
