このシンクはLIXILの前身である伊奈製陶のfontinaという鋳物ホーロー製の商品で、私が40年前にデザインしたものです。我が家でも35年以上使っていますが、光沢が少しなくなってしまいましたが全く傷もつかず問題ない商品です。
最近では人造大理石製の樹脂シンクをキッチンメーカー各社が販売するようになっていますが、とても10年も持つほどの強度はありません。欧米でも鋳物ホーローや陶器製シンクが主流な理由を日本のユーザーも理解してほしいと思います。
