シンクピアは魚の骨やアラ、野菜屑、果物屑などは翌日に残らないくらい分解が進むが、オレンジや夏みかんなどの柑橘類の皮の分解には少し時間がかかるようだ。3日経てばそれもほとんど姿を消している。
